Join us for Whispers in the Grove: Echoes of Ebenezer, a guided living history experience through the historic Georgia Salzburger Society Museum, Jerusalem Lutheran Church, and the Ebenezer Cemetery at New Ebenezer Retreat Center.
Led by professional storytellers, this immersive tour shares the remarkable true stories of the Salzburgers who journeyed to Georgia in 1734 seeking religious freedom. Walk among centuries-old graves, explore one of Georgia's oldest Lutheran churches, discover rare artifacts and original documents in the museum, and experience the triumphs, tragedies, and unwavering faith that shaped one of Georgia's earliest settlements.
This is more than a tour—it's an opportunity to connect with the people whose courage, sacrifice, and perseverance helped build the foundation of our community and our nation.

Location: New Ebenezer Retreat Center, Rincon, Georgia
Dates: October 17–18, 2026
Tour Duration: Approximately 45–60 minutes for the cemetery tour and 45 - 60 minutes for the church and museum tour.
Tours: Depart throughout the weekend in scheduled groups.
Important Information
Advance registration is required and limited. Only a few walk up spots will be available so please arrive early to secure a reservation.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
Portions of the tour take place outdoors on uneven historic grounds.
Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Children 10 and under are free.
This experience is designed to honor the history and legacy of Ebenezer and is presented with respect for the sacred nature of the church and cemetery.
